Karachi University held an aptitude test for PhD in Law in which 54 candidates appeared on Sunday and only five seats have been announced for this course by KU.
Short listed candidates would be announced on the official website on May 16, 2012 and interviews would be managed on May 26, 2012.

Project exhibition was the most important category in witch all the top 3 positions were grabed by the PU Lahore students. 1st position was bagged by the team comprising 4 students Muhammad Zeeshan, Aleem Farooq, Maaz Tahir and Marzooq Ahmed. 2nd position was grabbed by the team comprising M. Rehan Yousuf, M. Azeem Javed, Mah Zaib Jamil, Ammar Khalid and Abdul Basit, while the 3rd position was secured by the team including Ali Raza, Hafiz Hasan Raza, Syed Hassan Gillani, Junaid Ahmed and Syed Omer Saleh.
In Circuit Design competition, Muhammad Azeem javed and Mah Zaib jamil got 1st position and 2nd position was bagged by Ali Raza and Hafiz Hassan Raza.
In Crisis Expert Competition, Syed Hassan Gillani, Muhammad Azeem Javed, Imran Lodhi and Mah Zaib Jamil stood 1st while Ali Raza, Hafiz Hassan Raza and Junaid Ahmed got 2nd position.

On Thursday, Army Public College of Management and Sciences held a ceremony to award scholarships to the top students.
Chief Guest on this occasion was Major General Anwar Saeed Khan, Managing Director of CSD. Principal of the college Brigadier (r) Hubdar Ahmed Madni, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and thanked for gracing the ceremony.

University of the Punjab Lahore has announced the date for B.Com Part 1 and 2 Annual Examination 2012. Yet the date sheet has not been announced by PU administration.
According to an official statement, B.Com Part-1 Exams will start from 15 June 2012 and B.Com Part-2 Exams will commence from 18 June 2012.

Lahore: unscheduled hide and seek of electricity on one side disturbed the whole routine of normal life and on the other side it has mentally tortured the Inter students as they are busy in their annual examinations. Examination centers are lacking of water and electricity during examination which cause a lot of disturbance for students.
Punjab teacher’s union head and other senior education officials demanded from government to solve this energy crises as soon as possible as it is badly affecting the whole education structure in our country and our future is at risk.
